Diana Valencia was born in Xalapa, Veracruz-Mexico. From an early age, her passion for the performing arts drew her to take Acting, Dancing and Singing lessons. She started her theatre training at Universidad Veracruzana, Teatro la Libertad with Abraham Oceransky and in film at Escuela Luis Bunuel with Marcel Sisniega. 

She also trained in singing with Tenor Armando Mora, and at the age of 8 she started her preparation in dance with Lucy Rivera and Reynel Melgarejo.

Her first short film was alongside Mexican actor Silverio Palacios. 

After finishing High School in 2012 she decided to move to Los Angeles, California to pursue her acting career. She recently graduated with Honors from the New York Film Academy with a BFA in Acting for Film. 

Since then she has worked on several short films, as well as Theatre, where she was recenlty part of “ The House of Bernarda Alba” Directed by Denise Blasor, “The trickster of Seville” Directed y Margarita Galban and “Entre Madrez Te Veas” Directed by Gerardo Gutierrez. 

Recently she Produced, Wrote and Acted in her own shortfilm “ El Abuelo y Yo” co- Directed by Pedro Paulo Araujo and Alejandro Ibarra, which was selected for the Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival 2016.
